In February 2017, I returned to the beautiful Dominican Republic for two weeks to teach English to the children of Monte Cristi through an amazing organization called Outreach360.
In February 2017, I heard a story of a young lady named Becca Schofield. Becca is 17 years old and has terminal cancer. As a request, Becca has been asking individuals around the world to perform random acts of kindness and to post these acts onto scoail media using the hashtag #BeccaToldMeTo so she is able to see all the good things that people around the world are doing. I chose to donate $100 to one of the local Tim Hortons here in Windsor to pay it forward for the next couple customers that came through.
In February 2016, I took a group of individuals to the Dominican Republic with an organization called Outreach360 for one week. While there, we were volunteering in the schools of Monte Cristi teaching English to the children.
Thank you 2017 for proving to me that happiness is not still. Happiness flows through life in every form regardless of your destination. Choose to feel it.
